West Kent’s University Lodge, Hervey Lodge, has been accepted as a member of the Association of Medical, University & Legal Lodges (AMULL), which will enable the Lodge to assist students with a bursary or a hardship grant if it is required.
This is a great move forward in the current situation with many students suffering due to the pandemic. Many students work in the hospitality industry to bolster their grants and pay for living costs, however during the pandemic this has been diminished virtually completely and many are struggling.
