The Annual Winter Lantern Parade held in Tunbridge wells is a parade throughout The Town Centre to the local Calverley  park, this community event brightens the dark skies annually.

Many community groups from scouts and guides to schools and many children and their families construct papered Lanterns, when added torch lights inside bring them to life as darkness falls, the parade is headed by a fantastic Walking band followed by many dozens of fabulous Lanterns, some make you wonder how many hours went into making them !
The Excellent sea cadet Band of TS Brilliant, based in Tunbridge Wells, bringing the rear part just as alive as the beginning making the carnival atmosphere for the Hundreds of people either watching or taking part.

The brethren looked resplendent in Hi-Viz tabards with the “West Kent Freemasons“ Logo helping keep the parade safe and flowing.

Freemasons are now very much part of supporting the community along with other Groups and are called upon to assist often in Tunbridge Wells, Freemasons are warmly welcomed by the public and recognised and valued.
It is reported by the brethren that volunteered that members of the public asked about Freemasonary and how good it is to understand more about he organisation.
