Catharina Ammann, a nurse at Tunbridge Wells Hospital ran into some misfortune recently. Catharina had her electric bike with a baby trailer attached stolen from the hospital grounds a short while ago. The bike was a very important asset to Catharina as it was the means to transport her little boy to nursery creche prior to continuing on to her workplace  at the hospital.

On hearing about this awful loss; the West Kent Freemasons Charity Committee were in a position to make a contribution of £500 to Catharina to assist in giving her the opportunity of purchasing a replacement bike with trailer.

In the photo is Catharina, with her replacement bike, Steve Rozier, Provincial Charity Steward and Kieron Lockyer, Provincial Charity Committee Member.

West Kent believe wholeheartedly in supporting the NHS and our community in any small way we can. Seeing the smile on Catharina’s face made it all worthwhile.
