Two of West Kent Executive Team went on a river cruise to commemorate 100 years since Sir Ernest Shackleton set sail on The Quest. It was the anniversary such expedition. The same journey to Antarctica is being undertaken by Kent Scouts. We were very pleased to be able to support ReQuest2021 along with our colleagues from East Kent and the Mark Province of Kent.
Some truly awe inspiring people were present. Not least those Kent Scouts making this life affirming expedition together with their families, The Honorable Alexandra Shackleton, Brother Wayne White, Winter Station Manager of The South Pole for three years and member of Unity Lodge No. 632, San Diego, California.
