Re: Donation towards Children’s Christmas Party 2021
On behalf of all the children, parents, carers and everyone at Bromley Mencap a big thank you for the donation totalling £500.00 towards the cost of the Christmas presents for the children.
We were very disappointed when we had to take the decision to cancel the planned children’s party but knew it was the sensible thing to do especially as so many of our families have children with underlying health conditions.
Although the families were disappointed, they did understand the reasons why we had to cancel the party. However, we wrapped just under 100 presents and arranged for families to come to the Lodge at Norman Park to collect their present, which the children were very happy to receive.
Please pass on our gratitude and thanks to the committee members of The Masonic Province of West Kent Provincial Charity Committee for their very generous donation and continued support of the work of Bromley Mencap, it is very much appreciated.
