Mandy Portman of Junior Parkrun expressed the groups pleasure in receiving such a wonderful gift. She said that this would enable the junior park runs to continue, as without this essential lifesaving equipment they would eventually have had to cease… She also said that “we hope we never have to use it in anger, but knowing it is there is the best feeling ever”
They gave us a briefing on the aims and work of Parkrun which does such good in the community by bringing people of all ages and abilities together in a healthy activity.
