Supporting your local community through COVID-19
Freemasonry has stepped up to support local charities and projects 💪
From 1 April – 5 June, Freemasonry together with the MCF, supported 278 local charities and projects dedicated to helping people through the coronavirus pandemic, at a total cost of £1,345,908.
📍 In West Kent, 12 projects have been awarded a total of £14,000 to help your local community through the pandemic.

Support for Freemasons and families ⚖️
The MCF is still here to support Freemasons and their families who are facing a difficult time in their lives – whether related to COVID-19 or not.
From 1 April – 31 May, 940 people were supported totalling £1,890,504.

Where is your money going? 🔍
Between 1 April – 3 June, Freemasons and their families generously donated £756,484 into the Freemasons’ COVID-19 Community Fund! But what will the money be used for?
We know that although life will eventually get back to ‘normal’, for many people the effects of COVID-19 will be felt for months, if not years, to come. Whether that’s job security, housing worries, health issues or coping with bereavement – there will be people in every community that will continue to need support.
📅 This fund is there to support disadvantaged and vulnerable people for the foreseeable future. By funding large-scale projects and initiatives, Freemasonry will continue to have a positive and lasting impact on those who need us most.
How’s your mental health? 💭
Last week, we announced a £250,000 grant to mental health charity, Mind, to help them meet the needs of over a million people who turned to them for support, as a result of social distancing. Read more about how Freemasonry is supporting Mind, here.
