Peter Brooker, our Provincial Grand Charity Steward, is pleased to inform you the Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) has today confirmed that £300,000 has been awarded in core funding grants to hospices across England and Wales. In total, the MCF has awarded over £14 million to hospice care since 1984.
The following Hospices in the Province of West Kent receiving a grant are:
- Demelza Hospice Care for Children – SE London £1,045
- ellenor – Children’s Care £500
- Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice £2,045
- Hospice in the Weald £2,380
If you or any of your members know of a hospice in West Kent who receives less than 60% of their funding from the NHS, please let Peter know as the hospice might be able to apply for a grant.
