West Kent Walking Group

The aim of the West Kent Walking Group is have fortnightly walks for members to enjoy and appreciate the countryside, share in companionship plus give us good exercise. Membership is open to all Masons, their wives, partners, family and friends. Most rambles have between 12 and 15 walkers with an even mix of both sexes and an occasional dog. Each walk is approximately 6 – 7 miles, lasting between 3–4 hours and will generally be a circular walk with a refreshment stop at some point (pub or coffee shop). Walks are usually on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month and start at 10am. If you are interested in joining us, please register by emailing John Head  head123@btinternet.com or Andrew Waddington  waddington.ac@gmail.com . Please include your name, email address and a contact phone number. With your permission, we will include you on our circulation list to receive direct notification of the walks and it will also enable us to contact you if the walk has to be cancelled at the last minute, due to poor weather conditions. We advise you to wear comfortable socks and walking boots with good gripping soles and carry waterproof outer clothing and a drink. You don’t have to come along to all the walks, just dip in and out to suit.
