Important information on Social Media

In the current political climate, it is more important than ever that Freemasons are assuring that their political beliefs and their membership of Freemasonry are not conflated.

On social media, this is particularly prevalent and we advise that members take every step necessary to make sure that political beliefs are not posted or shared on masonic accounts. Such an action brings Freemasonry into disrepute by undermining the key fact that Freemasonry is a non-political organisation.

We will be sending out social media stats next week – there are some fantastic results to look forward to!

Please note that Provincial social media accounts should NOT use bots for posting content. These often share inappropriate posts that have no connection to Freemasonry which can damage public perception.

A royal visit to Bristol by the Grand Master

The Grand Master, the Lord Lieutenant, the High Sheriff and the Lord Mayor were given a detailed tour around Freemasons’ Hall in Bristol by the Provincial Grand Master Jonathan Davis and Deputy Provincial Grand Master Richard Lewis. On arriving at Lodge Room 1, they were greeted by a packed room of Bristol Freemasons and their partners.

Here are some photos from the event:
