Job Vacancy – Communications Executive

United Grand Lodge of England seeks a Communications Executive. You will play a vital support role in the new strategic development of UGLE’s communications and marketing strategy by being a key point of contact for its members. In order to achieve this the candidate will support the Communications Manager by helping to build relationships with new, potential and existing members.

We are looking to recruit someone with masonic knowledge and experience for this position.

2019 Universities Scheme Conference

Preparations for the Biennial Universities Scheme Conference are well underway. At present, over 100 delegates will be attending the event at ‘Cheshire View’, Christleton, Chester, on 16th November 2019 – and PGMs are being advised to make sure that your Scheme Lodges will be in attendance.

The Scheme Committee have put together a varied programme for the Conference with the emphasis on how best to work with your university, retention and support of members through talent transfer and the use of social media and websites as a communication tool.

Assistant Grand Master and President of the Universities Scheme Sir David Wootton will be attending and UGLE’s Communications and Marketing team will also be coming along to share their experience and advice on best practice around content and social media.

New & Young Masons Clubs Conference in Leicester is a tremendous success

The New & Young Masons Club (NYMC) was created to bring together all of the Light Blue Clubs from around the country, to share ideas and best practices and to ensure their continued success. Representatives from 31 of these clubs descended on Freemasons’ Hall, Leicester, to enjoy an action packed and informative day, with friends, acquaintances, new members and a great line up of speakers.
