The Annual Meeting of the Provincial Grand Lodge of West Kent will be held in the Grand Temple, Freemasons’ Hall, Great Queen Street, London, WC2B 5AZ on Tuesday, 5th May 2015. Brethren are reminded that they must be seated by 2pm unless they are taking part in Official Processions. The meeting this year will be particularly significant, bearing in mind it is the end of our Festival in support of the Masonic Samaritan Fund. It is also the final Provincial Grand Lodge meeting for our Provincial Grand Master to preside over, as he is retiring at the end of July. High attendance is therefore anticipated and queues are likely to form for changing facilities. Please set off in good time. Brethren travelling by coach who encounter traffic problems should phone Freemasons’ Hall on 020 7831 9811 to advise the ProvGDC.

It is a wonderful opportunity to bring along new Master Masons to experience not only the splendour and atmosphere of a Provincial Grand Lodge Meeting but also to have the opportunity to sit in the Grand Temple, support your Lodge members receiving their appointments and promotions and appreciate the magnificence of the building and its architecture. Presentations will also be made to Lodges for their individual achievement towards the Festival.

At the end of the meeting, after Provincial Grand Lodge is closed, the Chief Executive Officer of the Masonic Samaritan Fund, Richard Douglas will be invited into the Temple to announce the total sum collected by the Province. 

Dining afterwards at the Connaught Rooms will also be an exceptional experience both from the viewpoint of the palatial surroundings of the Grand Hall to the fine dining experience and the atmosphere created by approximately 600 Brethren celebrating a job well done.
