West Kent Masonic Metal Detecting

FREEMASONRY

“To Seek for that which was lost”

Some questions for you:

  • Have you recently lost a metal object and would like to have it retrieved?
  • Have you always wanted to have a go at metal detecting but don’t have a detector?
  • Are you a keen metal detectorist and would be interested in joining a club?
  • Do you have some land and would like to know its history?

If the answer to any of the above is “Yes” then….

We’re delighted to inform you about the formation of the West Kent Masonic Metal Detecting Club as part of the West Kent Sports and Leisure Association.

The club will be meeting once a month to share information about finds and listen to interesting guest speakers, there will be regular club dig meetings with land for club members to detect on and the club will offer a free retrieval search service to locate lost items.

As part of membership you will receive public liability insurance and the opportunity to learn more about the hobby from experienced detectorists. We will also be offering ‘have a go days’ should you want to try the hobby for the first time.

Sounds great – How do I find out more?

If you are interested in becoming a member, have some land you would like to know more about, or have simply lost a metal object you would like to have retrieved then contact the club Secretary Fred Estaugh ed.estaugh@googlemail.com for further details.

The club is open to all levels from novices to experts but there will be a limit on the number of members, so register your interest soon!
