Are you interested in becoming the Cornwallis Lecturer for 2018?
A Cornwallis Lecture is delivered each year to selected Lodges or Chapters in the Provinces of West and East Kent. This prestigious lecture competition is named after that very distinguished Freemason the M.W. Bro. The Right Honourable The Lord Cornwallis, who delivered the inaugural Cornwallis lecture.
The Cornwallis Lecturer for 2018 will be selected by our Provincial Grand Master from West Kent applicants and all West Kent Brethren and Companions are eligible to apply. The lecture must be an original work on a Masonic subject; it must be between 30 to 40 minutes long, and should seek not only to instruct, but also to interest and entertain.
Application forms and full details are available from me, email address below. Completed application forms must be submitted by 31 January 2018, together with a brief synopsis of your lecture. A full transcript of the successful lecture would then be needed as soon as possible, but by no later than 10th March 2018.
