Over 30 motorcyclists gathered at Oakley House to collect toys donated by the members of the Province of West Kent over the past couple of months. The Toy Run was organised by the South East Chapter of the Widow’s Sons Masonic Bikers Association who provided collection bins at the centres throughout the Province. The generosity of the brethren enabled a Transit van to be filled to overflowing with the toys donated which were then transported in convoy to the Bromley & Downham Youth Club.

The PGM, RW Bro Mark Estaugh, came along to congratulate the bikers on their initiative and said he was grateful to the members of the Province who had also donated over £2,000 to the venture. However, he graciously declined offers to take a pillion ride from several of the assembled Santas. The Widow’s Sons hope to be able to organise more events throughout the year so keep an eye on the website for future details.
