THE 2017 CORNWALLIS LECTURE
CATHEDRALS, STONEMASONS, AND LINKS WITH FREEMASONS
Written & Delivered by
V.W.BRO. ROGER ODD PGSwdB, PDepProvGM

The first West Kent delivery of the 2017 Cornwallis Lecture will take place on Thursday 18th January 2018, at the regular meeting of the West Kent Masters’ Lodge No. 5778. The lodge meets at Oakley House, Bromley, and will be tyled at 5:00pm.

This fascinating lecture takes us back in time to look at the earliest stone buildings and cathedrals. After examining how medieval stonemasons worked, and the special skills they developed, it goes on to trace the many links between them and Freemasonry today.

To book to attend this meeting please email les.fraser1@gmail.com. If you wish you can stay for the festive board afterwards, the dining cost is just £24 including wine; when booking please advise any special dietary requirements. Why not also bring a guest or guests, Entered Apprentices and Fellowcrafts can attend.
